Hot Air Stenter :
Mangles frames are made from combination of steel section and plates. Main rollers are made from seamless tubes and covered with ebonite / rubber covering (hardness of covering ranges from 65o to 100o Shore A). Rollers are loaded pneumatically against each other to create desired loading pressure. Main roller is driven by worm reduction gearbox and motor, speed of the motor is controlled by frequency converters. Liquor troughs and trough rollers are made from stainless steel, they are designed to take minimum liquor quantity. For easy cleaning purpose trough can be easily lowered. Scroll roller/ Bow roller is provided to remove the creases before the fabric is squeezed.
In fig. 1 mangle with 3 rollers (2 dip 2 nip) in inclined position offered as a standard version. In fig. 2 mangles with 2 bowls in horizontal position are shown for wet on wet application. Optionally, mangle with hydraulic (deflection controlled) roller can be also provided.
Overfeeding System : Over feed roller is separately driven by gearbox, motor and controlled by a variable frequency driven allows reliable pinning-on. Overfeeding from -15 to +50% is possible, which in special cases can be increased to achieve the desired shrinkage. To prevent curling edges, depending on the type of fabric, motorized 3-spindles un-curlers or de-curlers units are provided to efficiently spread the fabric.

Fabric underfeed roller is also separately driven with directly coupled gear box, motor and controlled by a variable frequency driven which gives a positive control to a system.
A pair of driven scroll rolls is provided for knitted fabric or special applications.
Percentage of overfeed, underfeed and individual selvedge tension is displayed on the touch screen panel on the control desk. Accurate measurement and digital display with a visual feedback makes it ergonomically efficient and also allows reproducibility of the process parameters.
 
 
 
 
Closed circuit air circulation.
Individual blowers for top and bottom jets – 4 Nos. directly coupled blower motors per chamber. Air ratio bet5ween top and bottom jets can be controlled and adjusted easily at fingertip through touch screen at the central control unit. Smaller impellers have added advantage of lower maintenance and there are no mechanical damper, which means there is no resistance to air flow. Special application for finishing TECHNICAL textiles – If desired only top or bottom air can be used individually.
HEATING MEDIA : Direct gas fired, Indirect (by circulating hot oil), steam heated or electrical heated.
DUAL FILTERS : Easily removable from outside for cleaning when the machine is running.
 
 
 
Main drive for stenter (left and right side chain) is commonly driven by helical bevel gears. Take-off roller is separately driven.
COOLING SYSTEM: This can be either done by air cooling system provided as a standard supply with the machine. Optionally, water cooled Cylinders can also be provided.
Accessories like selvedge trimming arrangements, finished width indicator and fabric moisture indicator and static discharger can be mounted on the stenter frame.
Delivery of the stenter is available with plaiting down, big batching, surface winder or with J Scray or accumulator as desired. Individually driven batching/ plaiting motor ensure proper tension control of the finished fabric.
